I have been practising yoga for 8 years and gained BWY certification after training with Triyoga, the UK’s leading Teacher Training program. I have since returned to the training as a mentor and assistant for new teacher trainees.

I specialise in teaching one-to-one and my own personal journey has involved working with my teacher one-to-one weekly for almost four years. The therapeutic nature of this work is something I strive to incorporate into my group classes by encouraging exploration and favouring the body and our feeling channel over a shape or pose.  My classes are open-level, spacious and intuitive. I have a clear, focused approach to alignment that honours the need for different approaches for individual structures. This way of working aims to build strength and flexibility in both body and mind.

Through a dedicated practice, I found a way to deeply connect with myself and body – something that revolutionised the way I think and feel. It’s this that inspires me to teach, as I hope to guide others to experience their own capacity for self-awareness and process. I'm extremely interested in the relationship we have with body image which led me to create the girlness project - an initiative that uses holistic practices to support young girls and women to develop a healthy relationship with self. My teaching is influenced and inspired by Embodied Relational Therapy, a form of body psychotherapy developed by Nick Totton, who I continue to study with.

I have been featured in and written for a number of national newspapers and lifestyle magazines including Harper’s Bazaar, Women’s Fitness and Prima. I have worked with a range of clients from complete beginners to professional athletes and corporate clients including The British Army. I teach private, group and corporate sessions in London.
